Our Patient Care Advisors help our patients to feel welcome, understood, and valued, and help our doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide an outstanding service.

Main duties of the job

The Patient Care Advisors will have a positive and calm manner, be compassionate, understanding, have good organisational skills and time management. As the role consists of a mixture of customer service, both patient-facing and over the telephone and by email or letter, and administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions and hospital referrals. They will need to be able to work in a busy environment, being helpful and efficient when communicating with other staff and patients. Experience in a similar role is preferred. All administrators in the practice are trained to deal with all aspects of the non-clinical service to ensure a varied and fulfilling day every day
