Job summary

Clevedon Medical Centre is looking for a salaried GP to join our thriving and ever expanding multi-disciplinary team. We deliver an excellent standard of clinical care to our local population.

Main duties of the job

We also pride ourselves on taking care of our staff by ensuring the ability to develop areas of interest, whist receiving any training and support needed. Our openness and flexibility to the needs of patients and staff, alongside our sociability has led to excellent staff retention across clinical and non-clinical roles. We are a training practice and take a keen interest in research, we are also currently developing our involvement in medical student teaching.

About us

Clevedon is a lovely seaside town with an easy commute from Bristol. We have a list size of approximately 16,400 patients and work from a modern purpose-built premises with onsite staff parking. We are situated next to the community hospital which offers a full range of support services. We are a 5- GP partner practice that currently employs 8-salaried GPs, alongside chronic disease nurses, pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists, mental health practitioners and a paramedic (who does the majority of our home visits). We are also supported by a brilliant team of managers, secretaries, receptionists and administrative staff who enable us to deliver effective patient care.

  • 6-weeks annual leave plus bank holiday allowance
  • 1-week of study leave allowance
  • 14 appointments AM and 12 appointments PM
  • Comprehensive induction and mentoring
