Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Practice Nurse or ANP to work across 2 practice sites in Dover & Shepherdswell. The practice is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and professional clinical team. We are willing to consider nurses from other fields, such as hospitals or the community, who are willing to undertake the necessary in-house and external training required. We are looking for someone who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to our patients.

Main duties of the job
Candidates will ideally have a range of clinical skills developed through experience and will be competent to deal with the general nursing of patients who present to the surgery, working to practice policies, and referral to other disciplines, colleagues or GPs, when appropriate.
Duties to include
* Wound care ( assessment & management )
* Leg ulcer management / Doppler & compression bandaging
* Cervical Screening
*Adult & Paediatric vaccines
* Family Planning
* Ear Irrigation
* Removal of sutures & Clips
* ECG including 24hr ECG
* Bp monitoring including 24hr Bp
* Phlebotomy
Experience of working with patients with Diabetes, Hypertension and Asthma would be an advantage
About us
Our clinical team consists of :
2 GP partners, 1 Nurse prescribers, 1 Practice nurse lead & 3 Health Care assistant.
Our patient population is 9400
We use EMIS Web as our clinical system.
