Shirland Medical (W10) & Inclusive Health Primary Care Network:

3 to 4 Sessions (Fixed Term) August to March 26 with potential for extension likely for a recently qualified GP opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team in a vibrant part of London (Queens Park, Westminster) for a 3 to 4 Session fixed term GP to support our increasing list size and join our happy team of 2 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs. We use SystmOne. As an ARRS funded role you must be within 2 years of qualification.

Main duties of the job

The role:

Salary £11 000/session

15 minute appointments.

No extended hours commitment or duty doctor sessions.

Home visits are minimal (GP Federation provided acute home visiting service)

Workflow streaming to minimise paperwork.

6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave

Onsite car and bicycle parking, garden and great local restaurants, shops and green spaces nearby.

Co-location with our District Nurses and Frailty Support Service.

Weekly clinical meetings for case discussion and support, with approachable jolly staff each day.

Mentorship time available.

Educational opportunities with Child Health, Frailty, Care Home, Diabetes and Lipid MDTs & Clinics. We host Medical Students from Imperial College London.

Wider team includes Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Care Coordinator, Social Prescribing Link Worker and Physiotherapist.

Our 5000-patient list size is interesting and diverse, affording good continuity of care, covering all ages in a contrasting area of high & low deprivation.

Special interest development is welcomed and supported.

Start Date: from August 2025, we can wait for the right candidate.

Applicants must be within 2 years of CCT and not had a previous Salaried GP role.

The role is fixed term until 31st March 2026 with potential for extension likely.
