Job summary

As an autonomous clinician, you will provide high quality medical care to our practice population, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate services in line with our PMS contract. You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive an excellent standard of clinical care, supported by a well structured and collaborative practice environment.

You will uphold GMC standards of Good Medical Practice, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the smooth and effective running of the practice. This includes contributing to service development, fostering positive working relationships, and leading by example through professionalism, teamwork, and patient centred care.

Main duties of the job

As a Salaried GP, you will provide highquality, patientcentred medical care to our practice population, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative teams. Your responsibilities will include delivering services in line with the PMS contract, managing longterm conditions, undertaking clinical and administrative duties, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to practice targets and quality improvement initiatives.

You will also take part in duty doctor and telephone triage sessions as required, support training and development within the practice, and participate in clinical governance, meetings, and ongoing professional development. Collaborative working, adherence to clinical guidelines, and contributing to the smooth running and continuous improvement of the practice are key aspects of the role.

Parkside Group Practice is a well established, high performing GP surgery located in South Croydon, providing compassionate, patient centred care to a diverse population of approximately 13,500 patients.

Our team is supportive, collaborative, and multidisciplinary, comprising:
