Job summary

Care Navigator/Receptionist/Administrator-30 Hours per Week (can be flexible)

We are currently seeking areliable and flexible individual to join our team as a Care Navigator/Receptionist/Administrator.

About the Role

This position offers a varied working week, combining reception duties with administrative support. The role includes:

  • Reception Shifts: One or two shifts per week (these could be 8am2pm or 2pm8pm), plus cover for holidays and sicknessas needed.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Providing admin support to the triage/duty doctor.

    • Answering patient queries.
    • Booking appointments.

    • Making referrals.

    • Scanning documents and opening post.
    • General administrative duties as required.

  • Is adaptableand comfortable with a fluid schedule.
  • Can beavailable to cover reception shifts at short notice.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills.

About us

Parkside Group Practice is based in South Croydon, with a list size of 14,500 patients. The team consists of 4 partners, 7 salaried GPs, 3 Pharmacists, 1 Paramedic, 3 nurses and a administration team of 18 including a Business Manager and 2 Operations managers.

  • Previous work experience at a GP Practice

  • Experience of the EMIS Web System.
  • Knowledge of DOCMAN.
