Job summary
We are trialling a Senior Administrator flexible position within our non-clinical team at Limelight Health & Well-being Hub, to cover for maternity leave and other long-term absences. We will then consider making this position permanent for a suitable candidate, if it falls in line with our business needs.
The post holder will provide advanced administrative services to the GPs and our wider clinical team, which will mainly include providing cover for our Medicines Management, Secretarial, Registrations, and Clinical Coding workflows, in order to complement the provision of excellent patient care
Main duties of the job
The following will be between the core responsibilities of the Senior Administator:
Supporting the Medicine Management Team with their administrative tasks, including processing prescription requests received via email or through our remote access software;
Processing referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS) in Trafford;
Leading on new patient registrations, ensuring that the correct information is on our records;
Handling and assigning patient information (both electronic and hard copy) to the correct staff in a timely manner, including tasks, prescriptions, referrals, lab reports, or blood results;
Typing up letters, reports, and associated documentation as required, including the correct input of clinical data into the patients healthcare records as necessary;
Scanning of paper documentation and attaching scanned documents to patient records, adding the required clinical codes as needed;
Managing all administrative enquiries from colleagues in a safe, effective manner;
Making outbound calls, answering inbound calls, transferring calls, or dealing with the callers request appropriately, including providing cover for the wider Reception or Administrative teams;
Maintaining both our patient, employee, and organisational digital databases and paper records to a high standard, in line with all Confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines;
Supporting all our clinical staff with their general administrative responsibilities.
