Job summary

This is a role within our administration team. We are replacing a long term member of staff who is moving permanently into our secretarial team.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties/Key Tasks:

  • Processing administration emails and post
  • Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patients notes
  • Read Coding the information into the practice clinical system
  • Monitoring progress of notes in and out of the practice
  • Registering new patients along with patient deductions
  • Monitoring patient call and recall systems
  • Filing and retrieving paperwork
  • Set up and run clinical searches
  • Ensure security of data at all times

About us

We are a medium sized surgery with 10,500 patients in a rural Village setting. We have two lady Partners and 4 salaried GP's in our clinical team.

As a training practice we regularly have registrars working with us at various stages of their training.

We have a very nice purpose built surgery that has recently undergone some updating, our staff find this a very pleasant place to work.
