Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Physician Associate to
join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a PA with solid primary care
experience who is confident managing undifferentiated presentations and
long-term conditions, with appropriate GP supervision.
Main duties of the job
- Independent management of acute and routine presentations within agreed scope
- Management of long terms conditions and chronic diseases (e.g. asthma, diabetes, COPD, hypertension, frailty, dementia, LD)
- Same-day and pre-booked appointments (face-to-face, telephone, and online)
- Requesting and interpreting investigations
- Developing and reviewing management plans in collaboration with supervising GPs
- Contributing to clinical decision-making within the MDT
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced PAs or trainees if required
- Participation in audits, QI projects, and practice development
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMIS

practice caring for approximately 9500 patients. We have a strong
multidisciplinary team including experienced 3 GPs, 5 Physician Associates, a Clinical Pharmacist, first contact physiotherapist, and social prescriber. Clinicians are supported by an efficient and friendly Admin & Reception team.
