Job responsibilities

• Process documents via the EZ Doc procedure, Which includes the reading of clinical documents, highlighting relevant clinical information and recording in patient records.
• Photocopying and shredding of documents as required
• Offer assistance and co-operation to other team members
• Other duites as may be required

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
• Good working knowledge of a GP clinical system
• An understanding of the NHS
• Basic computer Knowledge
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Neat and tidy appearance

Desirable

• Experience of working in a busy office environment and working
• with the public/within an administrative capacity
• Ability to work alone and use initiative
• Experience using EMIS clinical system

Experience

Essential

• Successful applicant will have a history of coding and summarizing in a General practice setting
