An exciting opportunity has arisen for a phlebotomist who is passionate about making a difference in patients lives. The successful candidate will join a supportive and welcoming team of Nurses and Allied Health Professionals within our friendly practice.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to deliver safe, high quality primary care services to the practice population. The post holder will work within their scope of practice, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries while delivering a range of primary healthcare interventions, including phlebotomy.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of effective, patient-centred care and support the ongoing development of services within the practice. They will work in line with agreed policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines to ensure safe and consistent standards of care.
The role requires the demonstration of professional standards, effective communication, advocacy for patients, and a commitment to continuous improvement and performance.

About the Practice/Department/Team
Lakeside Healthcare is a new type of NHS general practice that builds uponand celebrateseverything that is great about traditional primary care services. We are local surgeries run by doctors, nurses, and associated staff who know their patients and care deeply about the quality of healthcare provided within our communities.
Our nursing team is well-established, demonstrating effective teamwork and strong collaboration. This enables efficient, highquality patient care and contributes to consistently positive patient experiences.
