Being part of the Human Resources team based at Exchange Court, Corby, the post holder will join a friendly and talented group of professionals all sharing the same goal to deliver a high-quality, dynamic, and solutions-focused service to our internal customers across our Partnership.

Lakeside Healthcare is a new type of NHS General Practice which builds upon and celebrates all that is great about traditional primary care services by investing in people, facilities and equipment, to provide services which are more accessible, more convenient and more diverse within the local community.

Main duties of the job

Our Human Resources department form part of our Central support functions and are a knowledgeable (and busy) team who genuinely care and are actively involved in all things people-related across the organisation.

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager in delivering a proactive and high-quality HR service across the business.

One moment you might be handling an ER issue, and the next you will be offering guidance and coaching to the site leadership teams. Its a fast-paced and diverse role!

Reporting to the HR Manager you will also:

  • Coach and challenge managers to make good business decisions by advising on issues from disciplinary & grievance to performance management & sickness absence management.
  • Draft and implement HR policies & procedures.
  • Coach and guide managers to manage people processes more independently
  • Support the delivery of in-house HR training to upskill managers
  • Build positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reinforce the visions and values in all aspects of work
  • Support with ad hoc HR projects
  • Support the Human Resources team with day-to-day admin tasks

About us

About You:

  • Minimum CIPD level 3 or equivalent. With up-to-date knowledge of employment relations and employment law and how to apply this
  • Proven experience working in a similar role
  • Ability to travel to our Practices
  • Experience of advising, supporting and coaching managers
  • A proactive approach to continuous process improvements
  • A high level of customer service with the ability to bend and flex your communication style accordingly
  • Ability to act on own initiative and 'think outside the box'
  • Proven track record of building effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Project Management Skills (not essential but would be ideal)
