You will work with the Operations Director monitoring performance of all sites to ensure good quality services are delivered for our patients, with support from site management teams to deliver continuous improvement.
Working with PCN Leads and Site Managers to ensure good relationships with our commissioners, and all service transformation and funding opportunities are maximised and delivered.
The Deputy Operations Director will be a visible and present leader in the organisation working across sites to support them to deliver operational excellence. Assisting in the leadership of practices in order to optimise performance, using knowledge gained from external sources to evidence any change in direction; keeping pace with national and local best practice as well as our own Balanced Scorecard.
Accountable with the Operations Director for translating strategic intent into tangible operational planning and ensuring their direct reports receive clear direction, underpinned by key performance indicators.
Actively supporting the Operations Director to manage key stakeholders including external commissioners, CQC, Healthwatch and patient groups. Collaborative working across all sites, closing geographical boundaries will be key. This role will support sites in their decision making and controlling of their relevant budgets, including the PCNs.

About the Department
The Deputy Operations Director is responsible for supporting the Operations Director for the safe and effective delivery of all primary care services within our GP practices, and for ensuring that our Primary Care Networks support transformation across their member practices.
PCNs are a group of local General Practice surgeries working in collaboration with one another to provide services to its local communities and patient groups. Lakeside Healthcare is responsible for four PCNs across three localities and providing services to approximately 200,000 patients across these networks.

The Deputy Operations Director is responsible for supporting the Operations Director for the safe and effective delivery of all Primary Care services within our GP Practices, and for ensuring that our Primary Care Networks support transformation across their member practices.

The post holder will assist with drawing up new service specifications and costings and share responsibility for the implementation of all legislative and contractual requirements across all services that are provided.
The post holder will support the Director in all aspects of work required to maintain and improve current CQC ratings. Leading on action planning to achieve all required improvements is a priority for this role.
The role may deputise for the Operations Director and will be part of the senior management team.
