Milford Surgery for a Compliance Support Administrator to join our friendly and
supportive team.
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation,
compliance, and working behind the scenes to help a busy GP practice run safely
and efficiently.
Main duties of the job
Youll be involved in training coordination, health & safety compliance, patient support, IT troubleshooting, general administration and operational duties.
About us
South Milford Surgery is a 3-partner, semi-rural practice,
situated in the village of South Milford located within the District of Selby.
We also serve our 2 satellite surgeries at Micklefield and Thorpe Willoughby.
The practice serves approximately 11,000.
The practice operates under a Personal Medical Services
contract with Vale of York, NHS Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care
Board (ICB).

Primary Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Compliance Support Administrator role. This list is not exhaustive and may be amended in line with service needs:
Compliance & Health and Safety
- Scanning, uploading and filing cleaning schedules and compliance documentation onto TeamNet
- Coordinating emergency lighting and fire alarm checks
- Assisting with arrangement documenting fire drills
- Recording and monitoring meter readings
- Supporting Staff Participation Group
Training & Staff Records
- Coordinating mandatory and statutory training including BLS, Chaperone, Fire Marshal and First Aid training
- Maintaining accurate training records and tracking compliance
- Coordinating staff Hepatitis B vaccinations and staff immunisations
Clinical & Patient Support
- Assisting with Home Blood Pressure monitoring data and ACRs
- Monitoring online appointment availability and sending booking links
- Assisting with the rearrangement of clinic appointments
- Providing cover for Patient Services as required
- Supporting late-night smear clinics as needed
Communication & Information
- Maintaining and updating the electronic notice board
- Producing and distributing internal signage and newsletters
Administrative & Operational Support
- Preparing monthly statistics and reports
- Assisting with lunches and refreshments for meetings
- Providing basic IT troubleshooting support for day-to-day issues
