Location: Wetherby LS22 6JS and Bramham LS23 6RNJob Type: Full Time and Part Time Hours AvailableSalary: £12.21 increasing on successful completion of probationary period
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner in person and via telephone
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling of home visits
- Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately and professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Timely, confidential and accurate processing of incoming mail
- Other administrative duties that are required from time to time to support excellence in clinical service to the patient
- Effective actioning of task messages including telephoning patients, medication tasks, pathology results and email management
- Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and external parties
Requirements:
- Driving License is essential to work across 2 locations: Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Medical Centre
- Previous experience in a medical or admin role preferred but not essential, training is provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly and patient-centred attitude
