Dispenser to join our team, based at our Bramham and Micklefield branches. This is a

Main duties of the job
What Youll Be Doing:
- Dispensing medication accurately and safely in line with agreed protocols
- Checking all dispensed items against prescriptions, and liaising with prescribers where necessary
- Monitoring and ordering stock from suppliers, ensuring cost-effective choices are made
- Receiving and storing deliveries using agreed stock control processes
- Managing prescription forms, including patient declarations and endorsements
- Ensuring all medication is delivered or collected within agreed timescales including Dossett boxes and home deliveries
- Maintaining high levels of professional development and participating in learning opportunities

What Youll Be Doing:
- Dispensing medication accurately and safely in line with agreed protocols
- Checking all dispensed items against prescriptions, and liaising with prescribers where necessary
- Monitoring and ordering stock from suppliers, ensuring cost-effective choices are made

- Previous experience in a dispensing role ideally in a GP dispensary setting
- A high level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Flexibility to cover holidays and changing business needs
- A proactive mindset keen to contribute to service improvements and efficiencies
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- A friendly team player who enjoys working in a patient-centred environment
Working Hours & Pay:
- 1st Vacancy 3 days (27 hours) per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 8am to 6pm, 1 hour for lunch unpaid (with flexibility to cover other days as needed)
- 2nd Vacancy 3.5 days (32 hours) per week Tuesday 8am to 6pm, Wednesday am 8am to 1pm and Thursday and Friday 8am to 6pm
- Hourly Rate: £12.21 during probation, rising to £12.48 upon successful completion
- Benefits: Eligibility to join the NHS Pension Scheme, ongoing training, and development opportunities in a supportive environment
