Job summary

Frome Medical Practice is looking for a Bank Health Care Assistant experienced in phlebotomy to join our team!

Main duties of the job

With a focus mainly on phlebotomy, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring nature, and a passion for helping others. Applications from candidates with NVQ Level 3 welcomed. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

This is a bank, zero hours contract and the hours are flexible with mutual agreement.

You must have settled status in the UK to be able to apply for this job. We are unable to offer sponsorship on this role.

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake.
  • Minimum GCSE level 4 (Grade C) in English or Maths (or equivalent)

  • Willing to develop skills and undertake training
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads.

Experience

  • Experience working within a primary care or similar setting, such as outpatients
  • Knowledge and experience of basic clinical procedures
  • Experience working within a fast-pace environment

  • Using clinical information systems
