GP Partner or Salaried GP

Job summary

Main duties of the job

Provide general medical services, contraception services and maternity services for our patients.

To provide care for a designated list of patients, being their named Doctor.

To offer continuity of care through appropriate follow up, careful record keeping and liaison with Partners and other Associates.

To refer patients to secondary care services appropriately, both for routine and emergency care.

To work with all members of the primary care healthcare team in a supportive and constructive manner to achieve the best possible care for patients.

We are part of a well-functioning Primary Care Network, Waterside PCN, delivering a high-quality Urgent Care Centre, a home visiting service, and an Enhanced Care Team. We benefit from excellent access to First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing and Pharmacy teams, allowing GPs to focus on what they do best.

There are also genuine opportunities for the successful candidate to become involved in PCN leadership and senior roles, helping shape services across the network.
