Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Part Time Pharmacy Technician to join our multidisciplinary practice team.
The practice recognise and value the attributes and skills that pharmacy professionals offer to General Practice and the successful applicant will complement the existing 2 Practice Pharmacy Technicians, Prescribing Clerk, Cluster Pharmacist and Cluster Pharmacy Technician.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with aspirations to work within General Practice. You will join an established team and play an integral role in ensuring the practice prescribes safely and appropriately for its patients, whilst being afforded the opportunity and support to challenge yourself in new clinical areas.
We are a large and busy GP practice, as such the successful applicant must be able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality throughout. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of counselling, interpersonal and communication skills.
They will have experience of working in a patient facing role and possess the confidence and desire to keep evolving their practice, knowledge and skills.
Previous experience of working within a Primary care setting would be preferred.

We are looking to expand our Clinical team with a motivated, committed forward thinking Part Time Pharmacy Technician
Our Current Practice Partnership Consists of 1 Senior Partner GP,1 ANP Partner, 1 Gp Retainer, and 4 Salaried GP's.
The Clinical team Consists of 1 Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, 1 Minor Ailments Nurse,2 Pharmacy Technicians, 1 Prescribing Clerk,2 Practice Nurses,1 Healthcare Support Worker.Cluster team consists of 1 Cluster Support Pharmacist and 2 Pharmacy Technicians.
1 Practice Manager,1 Office Manager,1 HR/Finance Manager,1 Clinical Administrative Manager,1 Secretary, 2 Clinical Administrators, 1 Scanning Clerk, 6 Medical Telephonists.
Informal practice visits are welcome by appointment with the Practice Manager.
Castle Surgery is a friendly and supportive GP practice in Neath Town Centre providing primary care service to our 9,950 patients. We are one of the eight practices in the Neath Cluster.We are a professional healthcare team dedicated to delivering excellent clinical care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
We are a training practice for Nursing, Medical and PA Students and work in conjunction with Swansea University.
