Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our dynamic forward-looking team. This would be for a 1 year fixed maternity cover contract, with the view to extend.

Main duties of the job

We require the successful applicant to work 6 sessions across both sites, take part in the duty rota and have a patient list.

About us

Woolston and Chartwell Partnership is a friendly practice with two recently merged sites located on the east side of Southampton. We have an increasing patient population and are looking to expand our existing well-established and supportive clinical team which consists of GPs, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and technicians, social prescribers and a physician associate. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient-centred care in a happy working environment.

  • Interest in mentoring and teaching
  • Understanding of public health and population based care

  • Full registration with the General medical council
  • Inclusion on a performers list
  • Experience in UK General practice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Post graduate qualifications
