Job Summary
Medicus Health Partners is seeking a motivated and compassionateNursing Associateto support clinical care at Freezywater Primary Care Centre. Working under the supervision of registered nurses and GPs, you will deliver safe, person-centred nursing care, carry out clinical observations, support long-term condition reviews, assist with minor procedures, and contribute to vaccination and health-promotion programmes. This role is central to delivering high-quality care within our primary care network and supporting integrated working at Freezywater Primary Care Centre.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties:
Provide person-centred care and support patients with daily health needs.
Perform and record clinical observations, including BP, pulse, temperature and respirations.
Carry out delegated annual reviews and routine clinical tasks under supervision.
Deliver vaccinations and immunisations, including flu and childhood vaccines, once trained.
Perform ECGs, venipuncture and other clinical procedures within competence.
Assist GPs and nurses with minor surgery, family planning clinics and treatment sessions.
Offer health promotion, lifestyle advice and support patients with self-management.
Provide information on contraception and family planning needs.
Recognise safeguarding concerns for adults and children and follow appropriate referral procedures.
Identify and respond to emergencies such as anaphylaxis in line with current guidelines.
Maintain infection-control standards and ensure safe working practices.
Document consultations and care accurately in accordance with NMC guidelines.
Support audits, QOF recalls, CQC compliance and local incentive projects.
Manage and monitor stock, equipment, emergency kits and clinical supplies.
Work collaboratively with nurses, GPs, HCAs and the wider MDT to ensure high-quality care.
Participate in reflective practice, mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
