Elbury Moor Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.
We are a large practice working from a purpose-built building and we are looking for a flexible, hard working and reliable individual to join our well established administration team.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate would have experience in a primary care setting using Emis web clinical system and have excellent communication skills.The main duties would include document and referral management, preparing medical reports, new patient registrations and supporting the team of GP's on a day to day basis.

We have a strong multi-disciplinary team comprising of 6 GP Partners, 2 GP Registrars, Paramedic Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist and Nurse Team. Our Clinicians are supported by a well established non-clinical team. Together we support each other to deliver high quality patient care and services.

Job responsibilities
- Accurately input clinical data into patient records
- Run patient recall systems
- Monitor Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) and other clinical audits and assist with administration in achieving QOF targets
- Assist with searches, recalls and audits for chronic disease management, ensuring that recalls letters / questionnaires are produced and sent out on time
- Run other computer searches as required
- Assist with administration of the Pathology Links
- Assist doctors / Managers with administration of enhance services and projects
- Summarise patient notes accurately and efficiently, in liaison with doctors, and in accordance with the timescale outlined in the GMS Contract, ensuring clinical information is added to the Emis computer system accurately and efficiently
- Administer the electronic GP2GP system ensuring patients notes are processed and summarised in a timely manner
- Review and extract required data from clinical correspondence and inputting the data and Snomed Codes into the patients medical record in the Vision computer system
- Ensure, as far as possible, that all data entered complies with the GMS Contract
- Enter test / screening results and other clinical information onto the Emis computer system
- Transcribe handwritten clinical notes into the Emis computer system
- Ensure that all relevant Safeguarding Adults and Child Protection information is entered into the Emis computer system
