we are a friendly GP surgery, based in Orford Jubilee Park, along side Livewire Leisure Centre

Main duties of the job
·
Reception and routing of both new and existing
patients on arrival.
·
Checking surgery records and noting discrepancies
concerning registration and checking discrepancies with patients on arrival
·
Making new and follow up appointments, dealing
with general enquiries. Action of requests for repeat prescriptions
·
Taking requests for home visits, and notify
doctors of appropriate
·
Process registration forms for new patients
·
Use of System One computerised system for
recording relevant information, i.e. for changing patients address or telephone
number.
·
Scanning of all medical records and recording of
incoming mail
·
Ensure complaints/comments regarding service/patients
are reported to Practice Manger at the first available opportunity
·
Ensuring premises are tidy and secure at the end
of the day’s session
·
Perform any other reasonable duties that may be necessary
for the efficient running of the Practice
·
Ensure that confidentiality is always
upheld
