Penceat Medical is an established, high-quality provider of primary care services in London.
We are partnering with Evida, a health tech company aimed at making healthcare more proactive and prevention-led to launch a virtual service offering high-quality GP appointments, we plan to provide comprehensive annual health checks and preventive health programmes for adults who value proactive, personalised healthcare.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and personable GP to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical skills with an excellent bedside manner and interest in preventative medicine.
The candidate is required to be a GMC-registered GP with a license to practice in the UK, with a minimum 2 years post-CCT experience preferred.
Opportunity summary:
Location Fully Virtual. We are launching with a fully virtual service only. The team is located in London and there is an option to co-locate If desired.
Hours Part time. We are open Monday to Friday 8am 6pm, running 2 sessions per day. You let us know which sessions or days you would like to work
Competitive Salary - £12k per session.
Streamlined admin We use a bespoke virtual consultation platform aimed at minimising administrative burden. During a session GPs will see a maximum of 20 patients, providing sufficient time before and after consults.
Fixed term contract for 6 months with potential to extend
Main duties of the job
Duties:
You will be required to provide all core primary care
services, including:
Clinical
care to patients; consultation sessions, telephone triage, online consultation
Investigation
and examination, treatment and diagnosis or referral for medical problems
presented by patients.
Provide
preventative health care and advice to patients as required.
Adhere
to the practice prescribing formulary, local and national guidelines.
Action
test results, medical reports and examinations as necessary.
Complete
necessary clinical administration for the role.
Comply
with practice policy or guidelines, including data protection, health and
safety, and prescribing confidentiality.
