Job summary

Soho Square General Practice is located at the top of Frith Street, in Central London. We have a patient population of 7,000 and serve an ethnically diverse and a large LGBT+ patient population.

Over 25% of our registered patients are ethnically Chinese and we are looking for a GP who can speak either Cantonese or Mandarin to support this patient population.

This is a unique and rewarding role where you can make an impact to tackle the potential health inequalities in the local Chinese community. We support this role with Cantonese and Mandarin speaking Reception, Nursing and ARRS roles.

We are looking for an outstanding salaried GP to join our team for 1 to 8 sessions a week.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this role is to deliver efficient and effective clinical care to patients attending the surgery.

You will provide NHS general medical services to registered patients on the practice list.

You will be required to provide all core primary care services as defined by the local CCG and NHS England requirements.

To work closely with the surgery primary health care team in delivering clinical care, including attendance at practice team meetings.

Ensure on-going CPD to keep abreast of new clinical developments and maintain an appreciation of the commitments and requirements of the wider clinical workforce

Ensure that personal mandatory and organisationally required training is up to date

Ensure engagement with NHS annual strengthened appraisal, PDP production and GMC revalidation.

Document and report significant events and matters relating to clinical governance to the clinical lead or site manager.

At all times to behave as a professional clinician and act as ambassador for The Practice
