Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and compassionate individual to join our Administration & Reception team. This role is key in providing a high-quality first point of contact for patients both by telephone and at reception.
Full training will be provided. Previous experience in a GP practice or healthcare administration setting is beneficial but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Welcoming and assisting patients at reception and by telephone

Patient registration and updating records accurately

Booking appointments and supporting clinicians with administrative tasks

Processing clinical correspondence and information (paper and electronic)

Care-navigating patients to appropriate services

Supporting the triage clinician where required

Managing and transferring messages and information to clinical staff

Liaising with external services including hospitals, community teams & emergency services
