Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our practice team as a Clinical Support Administrator. This role involves having responsibility and oversight of the of the call and recall system for those patients with long term conditions.
Main duties of the job
The role involves providing a full range of administrative support to doctors
and nurses by managing the call and recall process for the practice for those patients
with chronic disease, the achievement of targets within the Quality and Outcome
Framework (QoF), enhanced services and local incentive schemes. This enables the practice to ensure that it continues to deliver high
quality care for all patients.
The ideal candidate will be methodical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous call and recall or QoF experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

We are a training practice for medical students, GP registrars and nursing students.
Our clinical team consists of 5 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, a Paediatric ANP, and a nursing team including HCAs, GPAs and a TNA.

Main duties will involve (but not necessarily limited to):
- Administrative support for all clinical members at the practice
- Assist with QoF (Quality and Outcomes Framework), enhanced services and local incentive scheme work.
- Call/recall letters
- Create, edit and run EMIS searches
- Add alerts and diary reminders to medical records as directed for audit or recall.
- Answer telephone calls to deal with patient appointments and queries
- Management of daily tasks
- Document management.
- Long term conditions/chronic disease recall.
- Attend nurse/QOF meetings take and type up minutes and distribute to team.
- Run search for LTC result profiles twice weekly and send these out to patients together with follow up appointments
- All chronic disease management admin but with particular attention to Diabetes and Heart Failure
