Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Phlebotomist to join a well-established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for running daily phlebotomy clinics. They will also be required to ensure all samples that require hospital analysis are correctly labelled, logged and have the necessary completed paperwork and are ready in time for collection by the courier. Previous experience is desirable.
Hours can open to negotiation.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the role is to work under the direct supervision of the Senior HCA, Lead Nurse strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
