GP Vacancy at Kennedy Way Surgery, Yate

Would you like to work in a practice that's in the top 10% of UK practices according to the 2023 Patient Survey? We are a semi-rural practice of 12,300 patients based in Yate, South Glos, away from the traffic of Bristol and are well organised and efficient. We are a teaching practice of GP Trainees and have supported GP retainers, GP returners as well as newly qualified GPs.

There are 4 Partners (one is the Practice Manager) as well as a full compliment of practice and AARs staff.

Main duties of the job

We would like to employ a salaried GP for 4-6 sessions a week to replace a long standing GP who is sadly for us relocating to another part of the country. We are offering:

£10,500 per session with no Improved Access/extended hours, no nursing home duties, no reports or Docman, minimal results, usually just your own.

Same day service to our patients - phone first, see if needed which is much appreciated by our patients.

Regular GP meetings for education, palliative care, significant event analysis and so on.

We meet at lunchtime to catch up.

Fully paid for twice yearly social events such as a day at the races or meals out.

Six weeks annual leave, one week study leave and bank holidays pro-rata.
