An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive two site GP practice in Sheffield.

We are proud to serve the Upperthorpe and Ecclesall communities and are active members of the Cityview PCN, working closely with partner organisations to deliver high quality, patient centred care.

Main duties of the job

15 minute pre-booked and on the day GP appointments

Participation in duty triage and paperwork sessions

Total Triage model using Dr First

Document workflow, prescriptions and Path Links

Quality improvement work to enhance patient care and services

Opportunity to support and oversee trainees (where appropriate)

List size: approx. 13,850 patients, split almost equally between Upperthorpe and Ecclesall

Clinical Pharmacy Team

Strong Nursing, HCA, Administrative and Reception teams

First Contact Physiotherapist

Mental Health Team

We are a training practice and currently supporting 2 of our ANPs to become ACPs

  • Completion of GP Specialty Training (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of delivering high quality primary medical care in a general practice setting
  • Experience of managing acute and chronic conditions in primary care
  • Understanding of NHS primary care systems, policies and clinical governance
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities for adults and children
