Here at Hazelwood we are looking for a Registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly Nursing team. We would like someone who can work with the team in providing the best care possible. We are asking for 18 hours per week over 2 days. Mondays and Wednesdays.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will include QOF reviews, Treatment room (removal of sutures, dressing etc), ECGS, BPS, 24hour BPS, 72 hour ECGS, Cytology, Disease management, Ear syringing, Chaperoning, Assisting clinicians in clinics such as minor ops and Gynae, Contraception, Urinalysis and any other day to day nursing tasks.
About us
We are a 4 partner teaching practice with 5 salaried GPS, 1 prescribing nurse, 1 practice nurse and a Associate Practitioner Nurse. We also have an ACP and various additional roles from our PCN (Apollo PCN). We are a dispensing practice and have a very qualified reception nd admin team. We are based in a Rural area of North Warwickshire looking after 3 care homes. We strive to give the best patient care possible whilst sustaining a family friendly GP Practice.

Job role -The post holder is a Practice Nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing leadership as required.

Participation in administrative systems in the Practice
At all times there will be a need to maintain accurate records
Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required.
On occasion there may be a requirement to undertake home visits
