Job summary

We are a friendly, supportive, 4 partner, rural, training practice with 10,400 patients in the Coleshill area of North Warwickshire and are looking for a fantastic, enthusiastic salaried GP for 2 sessions per week. The practice has a great reputation for its patient care. There is a strong sense of team work making this truly an enjoyable place to work. You will join an established and experienced team. We actively encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests. NHS Pension scheme enrolment available with pro-rata annual and study leave entitlements. We play an active part in a PCN within the Rural Warwickshire North PCN with some of the practice staff having Clinical Director, Coordinator and Finance roles as well as having a member on the LMC.

Main duties of the job

  • To take clinical responsibility for registered patients and maintain appropriate records of treatment given and NHS services provided.
  • Offer and carry out consultations and where appropriate, physical examinations for the purposes of identifying and reducing the risk of illness, disease or injury, including immediately necessary and temporary patients.
  • In accordance with Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
