Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner for approx. 30 hours per week.
Registered nurses (Adult) new to General Practice are encouraged to apply as our PCN Lead Nurse Facilitator can provide a 6 month preceptorship.
Dysart Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our practice nursing team.
Main duties of the job
Capable of and committed to providing high quality general practice nursing services, care and advice:
- Chronic disease management
- Cervical screening
- Wound management & dressings
- Immunisations & travel vaccinations
- Well woman and well man clinics
- Health screening & promotion
- Child health/child protection
- ECGs, spirometry, requesting blood tests, venepuncture
- Infection control
- Chaperoning
- Attend and participate in clinical and practice meetings when required
- Provide patient care in accordance with current PGDs and clinical protocols
- Refer as appropriate
- Check and maintain emergency drugs and equipment
- Manage cold chain and daily fridge checks
- Participate in ordering and stock control of medication, vaccines and drug supplies

A friendly 5 partner training practice, situated in central Bromley with a list size of approximately 13,500.
We are part of the Bromley Connect PCN who share our commitment to staff development. PCN staff currently based at our surgery include a clinical pharmacist, first contact physiotherapist, mental health nurse and social prescriber.
