We are looking to add a new administrator to our existing friendly, hardworking team.
x1 vacancies for 30 hours per week
The Chislehurst Partnership is a friendly high achieving suburban partnership in the London Borough of Bromley with a countryside feel. Currently operating fromtwo sites (The Chislehurst Medical Practice & The Woodlands Practice)there are 10 partners, with 5 salaried doctors and full complement of nurses including ANP and HCA.
The successful candidates will be expected to work across the two sites. Days and hours to be discussed during interview.
This role is varied and covers all aspects of general practice admin. The ideal candidates must be a team player able to adapt to changing work practices and be flexible to cover sickness and holidays. The ideal candidates must have attention to detail as accuracy is a key requirement of the role. You must also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Chislehurst Medical
Practice is part of the newly formed Chislehurst Partnership created in July
2022 with the merger of The Woodlands Practice and Chislehurst Medical
Practice. Both are high performing, well established GP practices in
Chislehurst who are passionate about providing a friendly, supportive and
caring medical service to our population. The Practices are working towards
moving into a purpose-built medical centre in the future but for the time being
are operating from two premises. We have a combined patient list size of circa
25,000. Our team are friendly and hard-working and together we provide a high
level of care to the local community. We are a well organised, progressive,
forward-thinking Partnership. We are part of the Mottingham, Downham &
Chislehurst (MDC) Primary Care Network and share across our practices a wide
range of additional roles including, Clinical pharmacists, Physicians
Associates, Pharmacy Technician, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribers, Mental
Health Practitioner and Paramedic.

Job responsibilities
Duties of the role (not an exhaustive list) :
- Excellent IT skills. Build and run searches, create spreadsheets, reports and perform audits as required.
- Liaise with the relevant manager regarding any practice issues, problems or areas of concern.
- Maintain and update practice leaflet and any other written documentation
- Assist the relevant person with updating practice policies, amend changes as requested and monitor policy renewal dates communicating these to the relevant creator and the team.
- Assist in ensuring the Practices Health & Safety policy & related procedures are adhered to & to act in accordance with all instructions, information & training supplied in relation to those duties.
- Support the management team with communication to the team, contractors, patients and other healthcare providers.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of practice maintenance file and ensure legal requirements are met as directed by Operations Manager.
- Support the practice Influenza programme including recording vaccine data and management of the housebound patients.
- Monitor and action workflow manager tasks including completing daily routine checklist
- Manage Patient Group and Specific Directives for the nursing team.
- Raise Quality Alerts on behalf of the practice and ensure the response is communicated to the team.
- Record Medical Alerts and any actions required.
- Support the GP Clinical lead on the research study administration.
- Responsible for adding and amending the appointment book to EMIS web and where required arranging locum cover.
- Support the collection of Friends & Family Test and communicate to the Patient Services Manager the results.
- Maintain Jayex system and produce monthly reports with patient demographic updates.
- Monitor and completion of the weekly fire alarm testing.
- Taking and submitting meter readings.
- Monitor and completion of immunisation coding.
