Youll play a key role behind the scenes, handling audio typing, NHS e-Referral processing, managing correspondence, and maintaining confidential patient records with accuracy and professionalism. Main duties of the job
In this part-time role, youll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our busy GP practice. Your work will focus on accurately transcribing medical dictations, managing patient referrals through NHS systems, and coordinating communication between healthcare professionals. This role is key to helping the practice deliver efficient, high-quality care to our patients while working within a friendly and supportive environment.

Brockworth Surgery has around 11,500 patients registered with us and we are part of the NSG Primary Care Network.
Our team is made up of GPs, Practice Nurses, Physiotherapist, Mental Health workers, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Support, Admin, Secretarial and Reception teams, Care Co-ordinators and Social Prescribers. Overall, we have about 50 people working here to deliver high quality care to our community.

Desirable
- Experience using NHS systems such as SystmOne and familiarity with the NHS e-Referral Service are highly desirable, although not essential.
- Candidates with prior exposure to digital dictation systems and those who understand the workings of a busy GP practice will be at an advantage.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the efficient running of the administrative office will also be viewed favourably.
