ARRS General Practitioner (5-6 Sessions per Week)

Job summary

The Role:We are seeking an ARRS (qualified from 2022 onwards) Salaried General Practitioner to join our team for 5-6 sessions per week. The sessions will include a mix of:

  • Face-to-face consultations
  • Telephone/online work
  • Home visits (as required)
  • Administrative duties (prescriptions, correspondence, referrals, etc.)

Sessions are flexible, and arrangements can be discussed to suit candidate and practice needs.GPs early in their career will be offered a named clinical colleague for mentorship.

Main duties of the job

The candidate is expected to participate into the wider functions of practice life including practice meetings, quality improvement, engaging with the GP contract and extended services within the practice gaining an understanding of how general practice works.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience or interest in working with multidisciplinary colleagues (nurses, pharmacists, etc.) and the fundamentals of quality improvement
