We are seeking a motivated and compassionate nurse with strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. An interest or experience in Research or Children's Health, including childhood immunisations, is highly desirable.

Main duties of the job

You will work as an autonomous practitioner within a supportive MDT, delivering evidence-based nursing care in line with national and local guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering treatment room services including cervical cytology, ECGs, and venepuncture
  • Providing childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
  • Undertaking health promotion, screening, and lifestyle interventions
  • Contributing to improved uptake of screening and preventative care programmes
  • Supporting patients with complex health and psychosocial needs in collaboration with the wider team
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to QOF, audit, and quality improvement activity
  • Upholding high standards of infection prevention, safeguarding, and patient safety
