Job summary
Kingswood Surgery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurseto join our friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to our patient population and work collaboratively with our clinicians and nursing colleagues.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing excellent care, with a strong emphasis on chronic disease management, immunisations, and screening programmes. Some leadership responsibilities may be available depending on experience.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care, including chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
Administer childhood and adult immunisations, wound care, cervical cytology, and health promotion
Support and contribute to QOF, local enhanced services, and other clinical targets
Work collaboratively with nursing team and the wider multidisciplinary team
Participate in clinical audits, infection control, and cold chain management
Contribute to service development and ensuring safe, effective care delivery
About us
Kingswood Surgery is a well-established GP practice in High Wycombe, caring for approximately 10,500 patients. Our team includes 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, a GP Returner, GP Trainees, and a dedicated Nursing and Pharmacy team.
We are part of the Cygnet Primary Care Network, working closely with local practices to enhance patient services and staff wellbeing.
