Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Manager to join our friendly Primary Care Network (PCN). This is a part-time role (20-25 hours per week/3 days), with flexibility on days for the right candidate. This is not a remote working position; the candidate will be required to work from the office.
The successful applicant will work closely with the PCN Operations Manager and Board members to ensure the smooth financial running of the PCN.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial management of the PCN.
- Use of Sage/Xero for financial record-keeping.
- Cash Flow Management.
- Preparation of financial reports to support PCN Board members in decision-making.
- Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Payroll and pension administration.
- Liaising with external
accountants and stakeholders where required.

Essential
- AAT Accounting Qualification, preferably at level 4 or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Desirable
- Educated to degree level in healthcare or business
Skills and Knowledge

- Good communication
- Experience of Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge and experience of using Xero and/or Sage financial system
- Experience of financial planning and forecasting
Desirable
- Ability to work without direct supervision and use own initiative
- Ability to work well in an integrated and multi-skilled team
