Job summary

Watling Street Practice is seeking three part-time Clinical Support Assistants, with positions available in Stony Stratford, Great Holm and Shenley Church End.

Hours, Salary and Benefits

Watling Street Practice @ Stony Stratford

  • 12.5 hours per week (2.5 hours per day)
  • 11:30am 2pm, Monday to Friday

Watling Street Practice @ Great Holm

  • 15 hours per week (3 hours per day)
  • 11am 2pm, Monday to Friday

Watling Street Practice @ Shenley Church End

  • 10 hours per week (2 hours per day)
  • 12pm 2pm, Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job

Our Clinical Support Assistants play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment for the wider healthcare team.

The Clinical Support Assistant role involves ensuring clinical areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked with up-to-date supplies and equipment.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Ensuring all store cupboards, drawers, shelving and work surfaces in all clinical rooms are clean, tidy and stocked with in date consumables and equipment
  • Supporting with interim efforts to support cleanliness in the building eg: supporting with spills and highlighting areas missed by cleaning contractors (in clinical rooms) and making good where sensible and safe to do so
  • Liaising with the Practice Manager and handyman where issues are identified, specifically, but not limited to, clinical areas
  • Completing visual inspections of equipment, specifically within, but not limited to, clinical areas and reporting any damage
  • Maintaining all stock of clinical supplies for the practice team
  • Checking all samples are labelled and stored correctly and ready for collection by the pathology team
