An exciting new job opportunity has
arisen for an experienced and committed Paramedic Practitioner to join our busy
friendly practice in New Brighton, Wirral.
As our Paramedic Practitioner you will
be working alongside five GP partners, 4 salaried Doctors, an experienced
nursing team and a supportive administrative team. We have a clear ethos to
provide a traditional family practice with an emphasis on continuity of care
but also recognise the necessity of an innovative approach to patient care to
meet our changing patient needs.
Main duties of the job
Your key responsibility will be to receive patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems to assess their healthcare needs and to make a diagnosis using your paramedic knowledge and skills.
Your duties will include:
- Seeing patients face-to-face on-the-day appointments
- Telephone consultations
- Home visits (including to patients in care homes)
- Refer to and liaise with other agencies as required
- Maintain accurate records using relevant systems
You will be working in a supportive environment in order that you can deliver a professional and meaningful contribution to the Practice.

St Georges Medical Centre is based in New
Brighton, Wirral and serves a practice population of 9,600 patients.
The Practice has a CQC rating of good
and is a member of a well-recognised Primary Care Network, working with five other
local practices.
