Job summary

The paramedic/advanced practitioner will be required to work autonomously in the practice and in the community providing a range of services such as assessment,diagnosis,treatment,telephone triage and referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedures.

Main duties of the job

Depending on experience and expertise the job will involve seeing patients in clinics and during home visits. Our practice offers a triage system so ideally you would help with triage.

About us

Parish Fields is a part dispensing semi rural practice in the small market town of Diss, Norfolk close to the border with Suffolk.As well as GP's we have a clinical pharmacist,two Nurse practitioners, four practice nurses, two HCA's and a GP assistant. Our current lisyt size is 8300

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level, be registered with the Health and Care Professions of Council. Have at least 3 years experience as a level 6 and be working towards level 7 or already be level 7and working towards a prescribing qualification
  • Be able to communicate at all levels across organisations ensuring that an effective person centered service is delivered

Desirable

  • Qualified in phlebotomy, able to perform and interpret ECG's
  • perform investigatory procedures as required
