We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified Nurse Associate to join our team on a part-time basis.
The role is approximately 30 hours a week, and the guide salary starts from £15.
Both the hours and salary are negotiable, and the salary will depend on experience.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
The post holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred care, bridging the gap between Healthcare Assistants and Registered Nurses. They will deliver a range of clinical and non-clinical duties under the supervision of Registered Nurses and GPs, supporting the holistic care of patients within the practice.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high standards of care in line with NMC standards for Nursing Associates.

Undertake a range of clinical tasks including:

Venepuncture

Wound care and dressings
-
ECG recording
-
Blood pressure monitoring and health checks

NHS health checks and lifestyle advice

Support with long-term condition reviews (as appropriate to training and competency)

Assist with immunisations and vaccination programmes (if appropriately trained).

Support patients with health promotion, education, and self-care.

Contribute to practice achievement of QOF and Enhanced Services.

Accurately record and maintain patient data in line with practice and NMC requirements.

Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and service development.

Westgate Doctors surgery is based in Westgate-On-Sea in Kent, which is a lovely seaside location.
We have 10,500 registered patients and the clinical team comprises of four GP partners, one salaried GP, two ANP's and a compliment of Registered nurses and HCA's.
