An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join us at Chelston Hall Surgery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our forward thinking, dynamic team at Chelston Hall to enhance our team and help us further develop our philosophy of integrated multi-disciplinary working. We are a friendly practice serving the local community. Our list size is approximately 18,500 patients.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of this role is to process all GP to GP electronic medical records, attach
clinical letters to patient records and follow up on any action required, medical record summarisation and coding all hospital
letters with correct diagnostic coding.
The potholder will have a positive, can do
attitude and provide a range of other administrative support to the team. This role will be based at our branch site at Barton surgery.

The post is for 30 hours per week.

- Excellent computer skills
- A knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to work accurately and concisely with attention to detail.
- A pleasant and calming telephone manner

- Experience of working in General Practice and knowledge of the organisation and structure of primary and secondary health care is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of working with the EMIS Web GP system, however training will be given
- A background knowledge of online services or a willingness to learn about these

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths (A-C grade).
- Educated in Microsoft office or to have a job history of working with Office (provable experience)
