Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Receptionis for our busy practice. Your role will involve
speaking with patients face to face and on the telephone, dealing with their
queries, making appointments, liaising with other team members, community
services etc. Registering new patients and various other administrative duties.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be flexible, possess a high standard of customer care, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative.
A good standard of education, experience of working in a GP practice would be an advantage, but training will be provided for an applicant with the appropriate skills.
37 hours per week over 5 days
About us
We are a friendly, innovative practice
with 3 GP partners &1 salaried GP's and a list size of approx 10,000. We
also have a clinical team comprising of Paramedic Practitioners, Nurse
Practitioners, Practice Nurses and HCA's.
We are a high achieving QOF practice and
our clinical system is EMIS Web.

specifically on reception and administrative duties. It is also the responsibility of each employee
to make sure that whoever comes into contact with the practice, either in
person or via the telephone, receives the highest standard of respect,
courtesy, fairness and professionalism.
Currently, the surgery is open from 07:00
18:30 hours on a Monday, Tuesday to Thursday 08.00 18.30 and Friday 08.00
20.0. Candidates will be expected to be

The post holder will not be expected to
work more than their contracted hours per week.
