Main duties of the job

Main purpose of the post is to provide the first point of contact for patients and signposting to the correct clinician. Ensure total familiarity with all appointment systems; Book appointments and recalls, ensuring sufficient information is recorded to medical record; Explain registration process; online patient access and Accurx Triage. Respond to all patient queries and requests; Enter requests for home visits including all relevant information and where necessary refer to the duty doctor; Ensure reception and waiting area are kept tidy; Check all items in courier basket are properly labelled and packaged;

About us

Bridge House Medical Centre are seeking to recruit an experienced Medical Receptionist on a part time basis reporting to the Operations Manager and Lead Receptionist. We are a GP practice with 3 GP partners; 4 salaried GPs; 2 ACPs; 1 Nurse; 11 HCA; CPs and Physio.
