Job summary
Crown Street Surgery is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and team minded Salaried GP to join our well established practice in the heart of Acton. We're a 4 partner surgery caring for 10,500 patients, with excellent transport links and onsite parking. Were offering a 1 year post of 4 - 8 sessions to include Mon, Thurs and Friday, starting April/May 2026.
We're a welcoming, down to earth team that values collaboration, learning and looking after one another. Our growing team includes GPs, coders, pharmacists, paramedics, ANP, Nurse Associates, HCAs and fantastic reception and admin staff, helping keep workloads safe and admin manageable.
A typical day supports a healthy work/life balance. Morning surgery begins around 08:30, followed by a friendly midmorning catchup. Twice a week at 12:30 we meet to review cases and share learning. Afternoon clinics run 14:30 - 17:30, with protected admin time.
Workload is fair and sustainable: up to 30 patients on routine days, with lower caps on duty sessions. Home visits are rare thanks to our paramedic team.
We offer a BMA aligned contract that supports a personalised development plan and offer opportunities for teaching, leadership and QI. We are a Training practice and proud to support the GP Retainer Scheme.
We're a genuinely friendly practice with an open, supportive culture and plenty of tea and cake. If you're exploring your next step, we'd love to chat, and we encourage speaking with our current salaried GPs for an honest insight.
