Job summary

An new opportunity has arisen within our super partnership for experienced Advanced Practitioners / Advanced Nurse Practitioners or similar. You will be based in one of 2 sites across Erewash, both of which sit in long established GP surgeries. You will be part of a team delivering same day services providing same day triage and treatment to our patients for a wide range of acute conditions.

Erewash Health Partnership is a collaboration of 8 well established GP practices within Ilkeston and Long Eaton. Sitting on the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, it has excellent transport links to both cities and the M1. All of our practices use System 1 and are largely paperless.

NHS pension scheme membership, Pay scale negotiable depending on experience

Full time but opportunity for flexible hours.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicants will need to be confident in assessing the needs of patients and treat appropriately, making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner, and liaise with the registered GP practice regarding any ongoing management needed. You will be expected to be working autonomously, but will be supported by GP cover.You will need to meet the following essential clinical criteria:

You must be positive, enthusiastic with proven people, communication and organisational skills.

Substantial autonomous experience in primary care supported by the relevant post registration qualifications.

Registered prescriber.
