Are you an enthusiastic and forward-thinking GP looking for the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive team at CHPL as a PCL (Salaried GP).
Our surgeries delivers care to over 17,000 patients across Hull and as part of City health Care Partnership CIC, we pride ourselves on high-quality, inclusive healthcare and a strong team ethos. Were also a training practice, actively involved in the VEN PCN and committedto developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. These new posts are part of our process of developing our practices for the challenges of the future NHS.
We deliver over 80 services, including urgent care, community nursing, frailty services, palliative care, pain management and sexual health services. There might be future opportunities for successful applicants to develop a portfolio career among our many services.
This post is ideal for someone ready to take on clinical leadership within a supportive environment. A minimum of 2 years post General Practice Vocational Training Scheme experience is essential. Leadership experience is desirable or the ability to show you are ready to take on increasing responsibility in a supportive environment.
Main duties of the job
As Senior Salaried GP you will:
- Provide high-quality clinical care, including face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, triage, and home visits.
- Support safe and effective management of clinical correspondence, pathology, prescriptions, and patient queries.
- Take clinical leadership for a specific portfolio of interest across our CHPL practices. This may include areas such as managing complex patients, education and training, or another area aligned with your skills and ambitions. This will be agreed with the Clinical Lead for Primary Care Services.
- Help shape service development and support the delivery of care for long-term conditions such as diabetes, respiratory, or cardiovascular disease.
- Contribute to mentoring, supervision and supporting junior staff and allied healthcare professionals.
