Job summary

Jessop Medical Practice is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our friendly and supportive team.

Due to increasing patient demand and ongoing service development, we are looking to expand our clinical capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, forward-thinking practice with a strong team ethos.

You will be joining a highly collaborative and experienced clinical team consisting of 5 GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and a dedicated Pharmacy team. We value teamwork, mutual support, and creating an environment where clinicians can thrive.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through advanced clinical practice, including comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Working both independently and collaboratively, the ACP will play a key role in enhancing service delivery and improving patient outcomes.

Jessop Medical Practice serves approximately 17,000 patients in the rural heart of Amber Valley, Derbyshire, covering a diverse and varied demographic. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the full range of primary care services.

We are also an active member of ARCH PCN, working collaboratively with eight other practices to deliver enhanced services and support patients through a multidisciplinary team approach.

Our clinical systems include SystmOne and AccuRx triage, supporting efficient and modern ways of working.

  • Prescribe medications, order investigations, and initiate appropriate treatments in line with clinical guidelines.
